woe is me.

i miss this here food diary. so much.

not that it’s 100% necessary to tell you where i’ve been, but i’m going to do it anyways:

i’ve been at work. it’s been relentless. literally 12+ hours each day. it’s awful to say, but when i get home after 12 or more hours of mixing, baking and recipe development i STILL have to make dinner. and get a 4 year old to bed. and by the time that’s all over all i can think about is getting into my bed as quickly as possible so that i can sleep a bit before my 3:30am alarm goes off. it’s a rough cycle!

but never fear! i think this schedule is only going to last through september. then things will (hopefully) be back to kind-of normal.

and because i love you so much, i thought you’d enjoy these recipes from hugh fearnley-whittingstall…vegetable recipes from his new river cottage veg book! incredible! sweet potatoes, chard, chiles, curry - yes please!

we’ll talk soon…i promise!

dinner time. lunch time. snack time.
i love food all the time. thankfully, i have a job that involves food.
which is fun. and amazing.

i’m a baker, and i own a bakery. i love to eat, and i love to cook - most importantly i love to share food with others.

and that’s what sprinklefingers is for - to share my food thoughts and dreams and wishes with you.

right now i’m wishing dinner was ready.
